To prepare for your upcoming surgery, please review our pre-surgical planning page. Anesthesia will be used during your surgery. The type of anesthesia your doctor chooses depends on many factors, including the procedure you are having and your current health. Educating yourself and your family/caregivers on your surgical procedures prior to surgery is an important part of the planning process. In addition to our expert care team and state-of-the-art facilities, Vail is simply a great place to recover. Please read through the surgical website and familiarize yourself with our surgical specialties, preparing for your surgery and what to expect for your day of surgery.
