Hospital Marketing Team Brings Home 8 Awards
VAIL CO Vail Valley Medical Center's marketing team recently won eight healthcare marketing awards at the 2014 Gold Leaf Awards ceremony in Denver. Awards were given to healthcare communication and marketing professionals throughout Colorado. The VVMC marketing team was recognized for Howard Head's truck and mobile clinic and print ad campaign Pink Vail's 2014 event and website Vail Health Magazine the Vail Valley Medical Center brochure and two 30-second healthcare television commercials. For the third year in a row Pink Vail was named the best healthcare event in Colorado.
Our marketing team continues to find ways to creatively message the exceptional medical work being performed at Vail Valley Medical Center said President and CEO Doris Kirchner. As a nonprofit community hospital we strive for excellence in all areas including our communications and community outreach.
The Gold Leaf Awards are presented annually by Colorado Healthcare Communicators (CHC). CHC is the only Colorado organization that exclusively honors healthcare marketing strategies. Vail Valley Medical Center was in good company with other top winners including Children's Hospital Colorado Kaiser Permanente and University of Colorado Health just to name a few.
The team consists of director of marketing Michael Holton communications manager Emily Tamberino special events manager Christine Albertson online marketing specialist Liz Pyke VVMC Foundation events manager Shelley Pinkham physician liaison Kelly Dantas as well as Markit Creative ad agency representatives Mark Silberman and Katie Hawkins.
