Dr. Resnick is a nationally known plastic surgeon, who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Resnick received a Bachelor of Science from Yale University and a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After completing a full general surgery residency, he pursued a plastic surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He then pursued a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at UCLA. Dr. Resnick is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Prior to moving to Vail, Dr. Resnick was on the clinical faculty of both UCLA and USC in Los Angeles for twenty years. In 2008, Dr. Resnick joined Vail Valley Medical Center and Shaw Regional Cancer Center, specializing in reconstruction following cancer surgery. Dr. Resnick is passionate about volunteering his time and reconstructive plastic surgery services to various volunteer programs through ReSurge International (formerly Interplast). Over the past 25 years, Dr. Resnick has traveled to Vietnam, Nepal, Myanmar and Mexico, providing various reconstructive surgical needs, such as congenital facial deformities and burn reconstruction. Dr. Resnick lives in Vail with his wife, where they enjoy the lifestyle of a small mountain town.
