October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Local businesses can help Shaw Regional Cancer Center and the Sonnenalp Breast Center raise awareness around saving lives through early detection. Shaw Regional Cancer Center recommend that all women starting at the age of 40 receive a mammogram every year.
