The cancer care team at Shaw Regional Cancer Center understands that being a patient, caregiver or family member can generate a myriad of questions and information needs. Answers, invaluable information and assistance can be found at the Vail Valley Medical Center Educational Resource Library at Shaw Regional Cancer Center.
The library seeks to empower patients, their caregivers and the public by providing comprehensive, up-to-date medical information to facilitate educated and informed health care decisions. With a large lending collection of books and audiovisual materials, as well as more than 300 journal subscriptions, the library is also a resource for medical professionals within the community. Covering all aspects of cancer and other general medical topics, many resources are available in English and Spanish.
