Proceeds from the Fashion Show go to the purchase of new Tomosynthesis Digital Mammography equipment. Tomosynthesis provides a 3-dimentional image of the breast, capturing breast tissue in 1mm slices and allowing radiologists the ability to visualize breast tissue without overlapping tissue. This technology will bring Sonnenalp Breast Center to the forefront of women’s imaging and will increase our early breast cancer detection rate.
