VVMC Imaging Department
The Imaging Deptartment at Vail Valley Medical Center performs diagnostic x-ray exams, ultra sounds, nuclear medicine studies, MRIs and CT exams for outpatients from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., seven days/week.

Sonnenalp Breast Imaging Center
Sonnenal Breast Imaging Center in the Shaw Pavillion performs screening and diagnostic mammography, including stereotactic and ultrasound biopsies.The Sonnenalp Breast Imaging Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please call 970-569-7690 to make an appointment.

Additional Imaging Services
Imaging services are also offered at our Edwards affiliated physicians office and at Eagle Healthcare Center in Eagle.

Accreditation
In 2011, The American College of Radiology (ACR) awarded VVMC a three-year term of accreditation in MRI. The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety.
