The Level II Nursery is located in the OB unit. We care for newborns delivered at 32 weeks gestation or greater. We also care for all newborns having difficulty transitioning to their new world after delivery. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for a Level 2B Care Center providing short term ventilation, surfactant administration, continuous oxygen support, total parenteral nutrition, progressive feedings, antibiotic therapy and phototherapy.

Our nursery is staffed with skilled nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, respiratory therapists, neonatal nurse practitioners, pediatricians, family practice physicians and a consulting neonatologist.
