Avon Medical Center is an outpatient department of Vail Valley Medical Center, the region’s most comprehensive medical facility and Level 3 trauma center, located 10 minutes away. The clinic offers urgent and emergency health care provided by the Vail Valley Emergency Physicians Group and Emergency Services department. We have a 9 bed treatment area, 2 of which are critical care, 2 Orthopedic, 1 ENT and 1 procedure bed.

We are equipped to manage most emergency medical situations.

• The clinic is staffed by board-certified physicians and critical care trained nurses.
• On-site x-ray and teleradiology capabilities are available.
• Lab services, such as: urinalysis, quick strep, influenza, pregnancy, occult blood, and glucose are available on-site and arrangements can be made to have other lab tests transported to the hospital lab for completion.
• Wound, orthopedic, and respiratory care is provided.
• Occupational Health Services are provided in coordination with the hospital’s occupational health department.
