Howard Head - Pediatric Therapy
Our goal at Howard Head Sports Medicine is to help children achieve their fullest potential in a safe, supported and natural environment. Our physical and occupational therapists assist children of all ages in developing appropriate skills for development and learning as well as building on a child’s strengths to further function. Since “play” is a central component of a child’s routine, it is not unusual to see children tossing bean bags, swinging on swings, or racing on scooters during treatment. Our focus is to incorporate a child’s favorite, age appropriate activity into therapy. We also recognize that families are an important part of a child’s life and should be an integral part of treatment. Each exercise program is child specific and devised around family involvement.
