Back Surgery Program
The Volunteer Corps has elected to have the net proceeds from the 2008 Fashion Show and Luncheon be utilized toward the purchase of an O-arm™ Imaging System for Vail Valley Medical Center.
The O-arm™ Imaging System is considered to be a dramatic improvement in spinal and orthopedic medicine technology. The O-arm™ System is utilized in the operating room to produce the high-resolution imaging needed to achieve minimally invasive procedures and consistently improve patient outcomes. It will provide real time high quality images that will allow for easier decision-making by the surgeon. The system’s robotic features allow for faster imaging, easy patient access, reduced exposure to radiation and reduced imaging time. The O-arm™ also provides safety and sterility improvements because it does not need to travel through the sterile field. To join our Volunteer Corps please contact Amanda Visosky at 970 479-5068
