Driving Directions from Vail Valley Medical Center to Avon Urgent Care Center

Avon Urgent Care Center is an outpatient department of Vail Valley Medical Center, the region’s most comprehensive medical facility and Level 3 trauma center, located 10 minutes away. The clinic offers urgent and emergency health care provided by the Vail Valley Emergency Physicians Group and Emergency Services department. We have a 9 bed treatment area, 2 of which are critical care, 2 Orthopedic, 1 ENT and 1 procedure bed. No appointments are necessary.   We are open from 8am to 8pm every day.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

We are equipped to manage most emergency medical situations. The clinic is staffed by board-certified physicians and emergency trained nurses. On-site x-ray and teleradiology capabilities are available. Lab services, such as: urinalysis, quick strep, influenza, pregnancy, occult blood, and glucose are available on-site and arrangements can be made to have other lab tests transported to the hospital lab for completion. Wound, orthopedic, and respiratory care is provided. Occupational Health Services are provided in coordination with the hospital’s occupational health department.
